H-1B / J-1 Waiver Physician Workplace Coaching

Casey Law understands the high stress J-1 waiver physicians are under as well as the consequences of employment termination.

Over the course of many years, Casey Law has come to find that physicians often need guidance on how to successfully navigate the workplace. When a physician travels from another country to train and practice medicine in America, it can be a challenge to understand workplace norms, hierarchy, and social structure. The reality is, some work environments involve difficult personalities — whether passive aggressive or easily offended. It is crucial to handle these situations strategically while maintaining your own boundaries. If you are getting feedback that your staff has an issue with you, but you don’t understand why, Casey Law can offer guidance. If you are unsure whether your employer is genuinely offering support or laying the groundwork for dismissal, Casey Law can help with that too. Whether we like it or not, the workplace creates a social bubble that we must adapt to. Often times your “people skills” are equally important as your medical skills when it comes to maintaining your job and making those around you feel comfortable.

Casey Law is ready to help you navigate the workplace and keep your career on track.
